An update and some fun:)

I need to write an update on Carson-his test results came back benign!!!! Praise the Lord! He is in the clear, but we will have it removed after it heals from the biopsy just so we don't have to worry about it in the future. Thank you everyone for asking about it! I really do appreciate the concern for him!

On a lighter note, I walked into the living room the other day and saw this:

It takes real love for a man to paint pink fingernails!

Next,
Party time at a friends house. Kindle's little friend turned 3 on Saturday here we are at the party:

She is super cool, but that's not why she is wearing the glasses. Her right eye is very sensitive to the sun (the doctor told us it would be too-lazy eye that is).

I love this sweet picture

Football! Almost all of Carson's games have been rained out, so they really haven't had enough practice to get the hang of it, but this was a good night-I think Carson is starting to get the hang of it!
He scored a touchdown!!! He ran about 25 yards in the wrong direction-he said it was to draw all the players one way, and then he turned the corner and sprinted up the sideline where I was standing, and all the way to the end-zone. I was so nervous when he was running the wrong direction (but I knew he knew where to go) I just didn't want a 35 yard loss for him and the team! I was anxiously awaiting the turn! When he did make the turn up the field I didn't realize that I was yelling 'go carson go! go! go!' and was missing taking the pictures, so the pictures are blurry as he was running past me, but you get the idea:)

He has a great coach...daddy (the other coaches are awesome too:)

Here he was up the line (about 3 guys to run past)

Just checking!

Touchdown:)

So excited! He was too. hehe

Again, thank you for everyone's words of encouragement! I really appreciate all the prayers and your friendship!!

Lots new!

Well, we have had a lot going on around here. A little bit of refining you could say. This verse is a great verse for what has been up in the Kerbel house lately:

'I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, "They are my people," and they will say, "The LORD is our God." --Zechariah 13:9b

I love how the Lord uses the circumstances in our lives to draw us closer to Him.

Well, at the Beginning of September I found out I was expecting baby #3. I even took those pics of the pee stick and all! Things were great for about 2 months, and when I was 8 weeks pregnant I miscarried.
This is the first miscarriage for us, so we didn't really know how to think or feel. I know that God is the giver of life, so I'm feeling at peace with everything. So this is pretty much where we are now! I am so blessed with the 2 God has given us! Also...

If you would join us in prayer (on a side note) for Carson. We went to the dermatologist today where they had to biopsy a mole on his scalp. The Dr. would not say much, but said that it had the 2 red flags he looks for-it was irregular in shape/color and was also bigger than 6 mm. We will know the results in 4 days, so please pray for a benign result!! All he would say is that he couldn't tell from looking at it. His tone when speaking about it caused more concern for me than anything he said. I don't feel comfortable about it's placement if it does come back bad-right on his head! not good for a lot of reasons. Anyhow, please pray for him!

Thanks for still reading if you are-I know looking at pictures is so much more fun!!! Hopefully we will have some good news soon:) Love you all!!

Nothin' new

Not a whole lot is going down, other than life, but here are some latest pics. Kindle started gymnastics, and Carson dressed up for book fair week where you dress up as your favorite book character. He really wanted to dress up like Harry Potter (I know, I know, the Harry Potter thing:) but he sure did look cute! I think he just wanted the glasses.

Our Kinna:)

What a handsome fella!

He has his wand talking. Just thought it was cute-the only thing I can see is his little head:)

Rode bike to school

Carson wanted to ride his bike to school-he's getting so independent, I want to encourage him to think for himself and to make good decisions, but reminders are non-stop coming out of my mouth. Here we are going through his checklist of things for school, how to behave, how to find ways to bring joy to others. His bible verse yesterday at church I absolutely love for a morning send-off:

Psalm 119:9 " How can a young man keep his ways pure? By keeping it according to Your word."
This is my prayer for Carson today, you all know he/I need it! Hopefully he won't tie someone's shoelaces together today!

Riding with our neighbor, his friend Matthew-a 1st grader, hanging out with the older kids huh?:)

First day of school

I was surprisingly sad to see Carson start school today, I really did tear up:

This is my little boy at mother's day out when he was 3:

I am still looking for his 4 year old pics, but here is 5 year old pics last year in 1/2 day:

NOW, my big 6 year old school age kid!

One day those straps will fit him!

He was ready:

oh, so sweet:

He found his name tag

We were not the only one's in there :) giving Carson a high 5 before leaving:(

I told Kit that I missed Carson already, and that we should have more kids, I think he is ready for maybe something like a dog instead:) I signed Kindle up for gymnastics so she stays busy and not missing bub!!!

Carson starts Kindergarten for real!

Carson will be at public school full day starting on Monday! A friend and I were talking about it, and we said how it feels like there is no going back! Once they start school, they are now on their way to growing up, and I know it goes by so fast! I am more nervous about it than Carson is-he is TOTALLY ready and excited! We had parent orientation last night, and today we had meet the teacher. He has a young, sweet (yet stern;) teacher that I think will be a GREAT fit! I was such a dork, and took my camera (not even first day of school), but here is my young man in his first class by his cubby-

His sweet teacher:

The girls that I train soccer with (they have all gone to Pebble Creek), and are SUPER sweet and fun to train and be around-were at the school today with their sibblings and I got to take a pic with 2 of them! I have talked about how talented they are, so it's nice to put a face with a name-here are Haley and Lauren:
